Beer Mussels!

On a rainy and lazy weekend, what can one do to get warm? Have beer of course! Mom doesn't drink, so I came up with this recipe just for her....

Ka's Beer Mussels (KBM)

Ingredients:

1kg mussels
1 onion - sliced
4 cloves garlic - chopped
1 can beer
3 chilli padi - sliced/chopped
salt to taste (about 1 tsp)

Method:

[1] Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in pan, medium heat.


[2] Add in onions and garlic.




[3] Stir fry till soft.


[4] Turn heat to high. Add mussels, chilli padi and beer (just pour everything in).


[5] Cover and leave to cook for 5min.

[6] Turn heat off and serve hot.
